Happenings...#1 ArrivalPapa, Mama, CJ and Ryan arrived last saturday :). the house is in chaos now :p hehe#2 New' 'do Not me but kulit (my little girl) :).
We had mama cut kulit’s hair yesterday morning. This is her first hair cut since birth. Her hair is already waist long. Why cut the hair? It’s making her eczema get worse, her hair always gets on her face, and it will all grow back eventually ;)

It’s already September, and in the Philippines, we call this the “ber” month. “ber” month meaning the start of the countdown for Christmas; radio stations are starting to play Christmas songs; the breeze is getting cold.115 days before Christmas.
Tomorrow, 22 Aug is the launch of the iPhone 3G here in Singapore and Singtel is the sole distributer of this phone. But before the launch as early as June, those who are keen on purchasing the phone can already make an online reservation. And a few days before the launch, they’ve contacted those people who made reservations via email to book an appointment if they would still want to buy a phone. The buyer would then select what phone to buy (8GB or 16GB), date and time to go to the selected Hello! branch. Hopefully this will minimize the queue, and the maximum waiting time will be 2 hrs (not bad) compared to a whole day of waiting. We’ll see tomorrow and let’s hope for the best!
As for the price of the phone, price is quite cheap but buyers need to subscribe to 2 years mobile plan. The cheapest plan is 56sgd/month and the phone would cost 348sgd for 8GB and 508sgd for 16GB. More information can be found here.
Opening ceremony of the Beijing Olympics was yesterday 08.08.08 at 8:08 in the evening. The National Stadium, which is called the Bird’s Nest that was built for the Olympics was huge (Picture can be seen in http://en.beijing2008.cn/venues/nst/headlines/n214507800.shtml).All I can say ‘bout the opening was that it was really awesome! The gigantic scroll enfolding on the stage was amazing. The choreography of each of the performance was outstanding. The painstaking practices that they have done for the past few months really paid of. The Women Chinese dancers are really graceful and the men are strong and powerful. The lighting of the Olympic torch was incredible. The imagination and artistic inclination of the Chinese are very exceptional.
