It’s already September, and in the Philippines, we call this the “ber” month. “ber” month meaning the start of the countdown for Christmas; radio stations are starting to play Christmas songs; the breeze is getting cold.
115 days before Christmas.

iPhone Craze
Tomorrow, 22 Aug is the launch of the iPhone 3G here in Singapore and Singtel is the sole distributer of this phone. But before the launch as early as June, those who are keen on purchasing the phone can already make an online reservation. And a few days before the launch, they’ve contacted those people who made reservations via email to book an appointment if they would still want to buy a phone. The buyer would then select what phone to buy (8GB or 16GB), date and time to go to the selected Hello! branch.
Hopefully this will minimize the queue, and the maximum waiting time will be 2 hrs (not bad) compared to a whole day of waiting. We’ll see tomorrow and let’s hope for the best!
As for the price of the phone, price is quite cheap but buyers need to subscribe to 2 years mobile plan. The cheapest plan is 56sgd/month and the phone would cost 348sgd for 8GB and 508sgd for 16GB. More information can be found here.

Beijing Olympics
Opening ceremony of the Beijing Olympics was yesterday 08.08.08 at 8:08 in the evening. The National Stadium, which is called the Bird’s Nest that was built for the Olympics was huge (Picture can be seen in http://en.beijing2008.cn/venues/nst/headlines/n214507800.shtml).
All I can say ‘bout the opening was that it was really awesome! The gigantic scroll enfolding on the stage was amazing. The choreography of each of the performance was outstanding. The painstaking practices that they have done for the past few months really paid of. The Women Chinese dancers are really graceful and the men are strong and powerful. The lighting of the Olympic torch was incredible. The imagination and artistic inclination of the Chinese are very exceptional.

Finally
I was able to fix my toy, my Sylvanian family house. Whenever I try to fix this house my daughter would play with it and knock down what I’ve arranged, which makes me lazy to arrange it again. Then yesterday my husband organized our cluttered living room and placed my toy on a convenient place where I can easily reach and arrange it.
And so this is what I did lastnight..

Tag About Husband
I was tagged by Salme.
How long did you date? So long ago di ko na tanda.. hehehe
How old is he? 34 (turning 35 this Aug)
Who eats more? Him
Who said “I love you” first? Syempre sya hehehe
Who is taller? He is
Who sings better? Me! Me! Me!
Who is smarter? I want to answer “Me” pero makakarinig ako ng violent reaction kaya parehas na lang kami.. hehehe
Whose temper is worse? Not Me :). I’m just quiet when I’m mad.
Who does the laundry? Ate Jean
Who does the dishes? Most of the time it’s Ate Jean
Who sleeps on the right side of the bed? Him
Who pays the bills? Both of us
Who cooks dinner? Ate Jean on weekdays, Me or Lala on weekends
Who drives when you are together? SBS Bus Captain
Who is more stubborn? Him
Who kissed who first? Him
Who is the first to admit when they are wrong? Me
Whose parents do you see the most? Mine
Who proposed? Hmmm.. walang proposal na nangyari.. hehehe
Who is more sensitive? Me
Who has more friends? Him
Who has more siblings? Me
Who wears the pants in the family? He wears the pants
That was fun! If you think it was, too, and you want to blab about your husband, go ahead and grab this!
